Stream the interview Freakwater gave WFMU's Radio Thrift Shop with Laura Cantrell here. (The show is about halfway down that long archive page). It was recorded September 7, 2002, prior to their appearance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City that evening. In addition to Catherine dropping the f-bomb, Freakwater performs "Flathand", "Lorraine", and "Kentucky House".

Here's an 18-minute interview (broadcast date: April 10th, 2003) Janet gave National Public Radio's Chicago affiliate WBEZ.
